A real person behind the work.
Esteban Quintana — Founder
Afterwork Momentum is a founder-led company based in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, built to help service businesses stay visible, responsive, and easier to work with.
My background is not a traditional agency story. I came into this through customer service, hands-on work, and years of trying to understand how businesses communicate, market themselves, and keep customers moving forward.
The approach I’m building around is simple: understand the problem first, automate only what actually helps, test the system, and keep people responsible for the judgment that matters.

Built around listening, testing, and useful work.
Where it started
Afterwork Momentum did not begin with a polished business plan. It grew out of years of learning digital marketing, becoming curious about automation, trying different directions, and continuing to build whenever I had the time to keep moving. Eventually, the idea became a real company in South Dakota.
What customer service taught me
I spent about five years working in customer service. One of the biggest lessons was that solving the problem usually starts with listening. Take notes. Slow down. Make sure you understood what the person actually said. And if you do not have the answer, find the person who does. That still shapes how I want Afterwork Momentum to work.
What the name means
“Afterwork” originally meant exactly what it sounds like: the time after the regular work was done, when I could keep building something of my own. “Momentum” is the part that matters most. Small steps compound. One useful improvement leads to another — and the same idea can apply to a business.
Why I build systems
Repetitive work should not consume the attention that customers, employees, and the actual craft of the business need. I like systems because they can handle repeatable work while giving people more room for judgment, relationships, experience, and attention. Automation should support people. It should not turn people into robots.
Who I want to help
Some of the businesses I find most interesting are already good at the actual work. The problem is everything surrounding it: missed calls, follow-up, reviews, content, scheduling, customer communication, and the hundred other things competing for attention. Good work should not lose opportunities simply because the owner and team are busy doing the job customers hired them to do.
How I work
I would rather understand the situation before recommending another tool. If something does not fit the business, I do not want to force it into the business. If I do not know an answer, I would rather investigate it and come back with something useful. Test it. Verify it. Improve it. Keep the person responsible.
The person and the process.

Start With What’s Slowing You Down
You do not need to arrive with a service picked out. Bring the part of the business that keeps getting delayed, missed, or harder to manage than it should be.
